What we collect when you connect an account, what we do with it, and how to revoke it.
CatchLive Clips produces short vertical clips from live streams and delivers them to the creator who engaged us. Clips are placed in that creator's own TikTok drafts for their review. We do not publish on anyone's behalf.
TikTok account data. When a creator connects their account we receive an open ID, display name and profile information, plus an access token and refresh token. We request the user.info.basic and video.upload scopes only. video.upload can place a video in the account's drafts; it cannot post publicly.
Messaging data. If a creator uses our Telegram bot we store their Telegram numeric ID and username to route deliveries.
Content and metadata. Public stream recordings and clips, plus titles, timestamps and durations, are processed to produce edits.
The form on our homepage collects the name, email, channel and notes you type into it, so we can reply. Submissions reach us through our hosting provider and are not sold, shared, or added to a marketing list.
Source recordings and rendered clips are deleted from our servers once delivered. Access and refresh tokens are kept until the creator disconnects or revokes them. Delivery records — what was sent, for whom, and when — are retained as an audit trail.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not post publicly, change account settings, or read private messages. We do not use connected accounts to access anything beyond the scopes named above.
A creator can disconnect at any time through our bot, or in TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions. Revoking immediately invalidates our tokens. To request deletion of stored data, get in touch through the form linked below.
We use TikTok's official APIs for authorization and content upload, and Telegram for delivery messaging. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.
This service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, or under the minimum age of digital consent in their jurisdiction.
Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
